Clubhouse Model of Psychosocial Rehabilitation

Grand Avenue Club is part of an international model called The Clubhouse Model of Psychosocial Rehabilitation. Clubhouse International is the accreditation agency that oversees Clubhouses all around the world. There are over 320 Clubhouses in 32 countries.

All Clubhouses follow something called “standards” which are a bill of rights for members and a code of ethics for staff.

Annual Club Activities

Blue Lotus

Every year, GAC takes a road trip to Blue Lotus.

Blue Lotus is a 64-acre day camp and retreat center where colleagues can unwind by kayaking, swimming, hiking, making tie-dye T-shirts, playing volleyball, cooking & eating, or just relaxing!

All members are invited, no cost required

Home for the Holidays

Every year at Grand Avenue Club, we have a longstanding tradition called “Home for the Holidays” that celebrates being together for the holiday season.

Join us for hearty soups, breads and spreads, jovial conversation, colleagues sharing their stories and accomplishments, and the annual “Candle Lighting” ceremony.

Community Holiday Celebrations

Holidays can be challenging for anyone but especially for those who may isolate. That’s why Grand Avenue Club is open on all major holidays including Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and more.

These gatherings provide an opportunity to cement friendships and a welcoming community to celebrate holidays for those who may not have any place to go.

Holidays meals are shared, games are played, conversations flow… Holidays at Grand Avenue Club are always a good time!
