Grand Avenue Club’s third floor houses our Employment, Education & Membership Unit. This unit arranges for tours of GAC by potential members and manages the applications process and orientations of new members. the membership team–which consists of members and staff–has also arranged for speaking engagements about the GAC mission in the community.

This unit assists members who are searching for employment with job searches by providing regularly updated lists of available employment via our Transitional Employment program, resume preparation, as well as assisting members to prepare for personal interviews. The unit houses a study room that is available to all members who are attending school, offers educational counseling and help with applications to local schools, and offers information about financial aid. It arranges for tutoring and mentoring as needed. The unit houses a library and a study room for students or other colleagues who need a quiet space to do a project or just because they want some quiet.
