GAC Employment Services: “Every member has the right to meaningful work.”
Members who are interested in gaining employment work side by side with dedicated staff to run GAC via “work ordered days.” By doing so, members increase their confidence and personal productivity. They also prepare for the responsibilities of paid employment such as committing to a regular schedule, actively sustaining job duties for the duration of a shift, learning how to follow through on a task from start to finish and more. Many members work either part or full-time for some of Milwaukee’s quality employers at market rate wages.
Your monthly donation will go towards helping three club members with resume assistance, interviewing skills, and on-the-job coaching by Placement Managers. Placement Managers bridge the gap between GAC members in Transitional Employments by selecting quality candidates for the positions, personally training them at the job location, fill in for any shift missed by members and more.
