Our employment program focuses on connecting members with quality and well-recognized employment opportunities throughout Milwaukee. Members are paid the prevailing wage rate for the position, directly by the employer.
While there is no “one-size-fits all” rehabilitative roadmap, generally speaking, members often begin their employment journey in Group Placement or Transitional Employment.
The different paths of our employment program are categorized by the amount and types of support provided to the member (and the employer) through the Clubhouse:

Group Placement
-
No long term commitment; shift-by-shift sign-up
-
Builds confidence in new skills and returning to the workforce

Transitional Employment (TE)
-
6 – 12 month commitment with Clubhouse provided job coverage
-
Clubhouse staff train and support member
-
Builds resume, strengthens skills

Supported Employment (SE)
-
Full or part-time position
-
Member may request and receive support with employer from Clubhouse staff

Independent Employment (IE)
-
Traditional employment commitment
-
Clubhouse has no formal relationship with employer
-
Clubhouse support provided within Clubhouse when needed
