At Grand Avenue Club, we help members enter or re-enter the workforce through a variety of supportive employment pathways tailored to their unique strengths, challenges, and goals. Whether beginning in Group Placement or Transitional Employment, members are paid directly by Milwaukee employers at prevailing wages and receive ongoing support from start to finish.

Our partnerships with local businesses and our flexible, person-centered approach ensure there’s no one-size-fits-all—just a shared goal of meaningful employment he different paths of our employment program are categorized by the amount and types of support provided to the member (and the employer) through the Clubhouse:

  • No long term commitment; shift-by-shift sign-up

  • Builds confidence in new skills and returning to the workforce

  • 6 – 12 month commitment with Clubhouse provided job coverage

  • Clubhouse staff train and support member

  • Builds resume, strengthens skills

  • Full or part-time position

  • Member may request and receive support with employer from Clubhouse staff

  • Traditional employment commitment

  • Clubhouse has no formal relationship with employer

  • Clubhouse support provided within Clubhouse when needed
